Dubai Marina

The idea of progress is an important one in Dubai. For any new development it is not enough simply to be as good as the one before, it is important to make a statement by developing something that exceeds expectation and astounds the onlooker. Dubai Marina is another example of this philosophy, a work currently in progress which, when complete, will be the world’s largest man-made marina. It is to be found at the center of what is being referred to as “New Dubai”.

Although currently under construction, Dubai Marina is already a source of much excitement due to the planned developments, which are being handled by the UAE’s premier real estate developers Emaar Properties. Six apartment towers are the centerpiece of the waterfront area, surrounded by an additional sixty-four luxury villas connected by rooftop gardens. The towers themselves are a keen reminder of the importance of luxury in this city, being named after three precious jewels and three precious Arabic scents. All of this is part of the first phase. The second is what will truly stun the rest of the world and boost again the Dubai travel industry.

In Phase Two of the Dubai Marina development there will be more than two hundred high-rise developments including the Al Sahab twin towers and 23 Marina, which will compare favorably with anything elsewhere in Dubai. Located favorably for one of Dubai’s most impressive existing areas, the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina is certain to attract yet more interest to a part of the world which is already having a profound effect on the Dubai travel industry.
